Tasks are under More → Tasks: All Tasks, Workstreams and Projects.
Create a task
- Open Tasks → All Tasks and select +.
- Enter a Title and, optionally, a description.
- Optionally put it in a Work-stream or Project.
- Set the Status, Priority (Low, Medium, High or Critical), optional start date, and Due Date.
- Choose who it's assigned to (Assign To), then select Create Task.
To add many tasks at once, open the arrow next to + and choose Bulk Create: fill in a row per task, then select Create Tasks.
Work with tasks
- Switch between List (grouped by status) and Board (drag cards between status columns).
- Change a task's title, due date, status, priority or assignees straight from the list.
- Open a task to see its details, Sub-tasks and Comments. Use the … menu to Add Sub-task, Edit or Delete.
- Filter by status or priority, or select Advance Filters for assignee, department, workstream, project and due dates.
The Overview at the top counts total tasks, those completed on time or late, and those overdue, for today, this week, month, quarter, year, or dates you choose.
Workstreams
A workstream is an ongoing area of work, such as Payroll operations or Compliance. Open Tasks → Workstreams, select New Workstream, and give it a name and description. Choose it when creating tasks, or select it in the side panel on All Tasks to see only its tasks.
Projects
A project has a goal and an end date, for example HR onboarding revamp.
- Open Tasks → Projects and select New Project.
- Basic Info: name, code, description, objective, workstream, status and priority.
- Dates: the planned start and end dates. Add the actual dates as the project runs.
- Members: add people as Owner, Contributor or Viewer.
- Select Create Project.
| Project status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Planned | Not started. The code can still be changed |
| Active | Under way |
| On Hold | Paused |
| Completed | Done |
| Cancelled | Stopped |
Deleting a project keeps its tasks, but removes them from the project.
