Asset Management is under More → Asset Management. The top of the page counts your assets by status and location: total, available, assigned, under repair, lost, retired and overdue for return.

Add an asset
- Select Add Asset.
- Asset Details: the name (for example Dell Latitude 5420), category, SKU, serial number, location and a description. Select + Add to create a category.
- Choose its condition: New, Good, Fair, Damaged or Retired.
- Financials: the Purchase Cost, Purchase Date and, optionally, its current value.
- Select Add Asset.
Assign, return and move assets
Use the actions on an asset's row:

| Assign | Giving it to an employee. Set the date, an expected return date, its condition and notes |
| Return | It comes back. Record its condition |
| Transfer | It moves to another location |
| Update Status | It goes for repair, is lost, or is retired |
Open an asset to see its details, who has it, and its Activity: every assignment, return, transfer, status change and repair.
Tip
Set an Expected Return when assigning equipment to someone leaving or on a temporary assignment. Overdue returns are counted at the top of the page.
Search by name, tag or serial number, and filter by status or condition.
