Only Group Admins can open Settings. If you can't see it, ask your Group Admin.
Organisation settings
Organization
Check your organisation's name, type, email and country. Under Editable Settings, set your Domain and Country of Incorporation, then select Save Changes.
Companies
If your group runs more than one company, for example separate legal entities, create each one here. Most records in KalHR belong to a company: employees, pay cycles, policies and payroll runs.
- Select + Create Company.
- Enter the company type, name, initials, work email, phone number, country, state, address and Time Zone. KalHR uses the time zone when it shows that company's dates and times.
- Select Save.
Locations
Add each office or site with + Create Location: the company, country, state and address. You can then choose an office location for each employee.
Subscription
See your current plan and compare plans with View features. From here you can:
- Upgrade Now, change or cancel your plan;
- turn auto-renewal on or off;
- manage your payment cards;
- download receipts from Recent Receipts and Subscription History.
Compliance
Compliance shows the KYC verification status of each company
KYC (know-your-customer) verification confirms each company's identity. Complete it when KalHR asks you to.
- Open Compliance and select Start Verification next to a company.
- Provide the required information and upload the documents asked for: PDF, Word, JPG or PNG, up to 2 MB each.
- Select Save Draft to finish later, or Submit when it's complete.
KalHR reviews each item. If something is denied or needs action, you'll see the reason next to it: fix it and submit that item again.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Started, not submitted |
| Submitted / In Review | Being checked |
| Action Required | Something needs fixing; see the comments |
| Approved | Verified |
| Denied | Not accepted; see the reason |
Developer
Developer shows your organisation's API keys, for connecting your own systems to KalHR:
- the Public Key is safe to use in client-side code;
- the Secret Key must only be used on your servers. Never share it or put it in a website or app.
Select Refresh to replace a key if it may have been exposed, then update any system that uses it.
